CTC
recognizes that trading involves both science and art. Accordingly our
education program strives to bridge the gap between financial theory
and market reality. Through a series of formal classes, our trainees
learn the science of trading – i.e., the quantitative underpinnings of
financial markets. Such classes include:
- The basics of options
and futures
- Introduction to
interest rate products
- Advanced options and
complex derivatives
In
conjunction with our formal classes, our trainees learn the art of
trading – how to apply the theoretical constructs of derivatives
trading to the real world functioning of the market.
- Our mock trading
program allows aspiring traders to test their abilities in a
simulated trading environment.
- Advanced seminars
taught by senior trading personnel provide further opportunities
for trainees to learn about practical application of derivatives
theory.
- On the job training as
a contributing member of trading team allows trainees to
simultaneously apply their new knowledge and hone their market
skills.
