Shelly Natenberg, a widely recognized trader, teacher and renowned author, leads our education program. Shelly is the author of Options Volatility and Pricing, a book that is considered to be required reading for aspiring professional options traders. Visit any options trading firm and you are bound to see a copy of Shelly’s book.

• Shelly began his trading career in 1982 as an independent equity options market maker at the CBOE. Eventually Shelly moved to the CBOT, where he traded commodity options.
• As a respected options industry educator, Shelly has conducted courses for major exchanges, trading firms, and financial institutions in North America, Europe, and Asia. For example, Shelly is a regular speaker at the Risk Management Conference hosted by the CBOE, CBOT and the CME.
• Shelly joined CTC as the director of education in November 2000.

Additionally, CTC uses its educational expertise to build relationships. We offer our education program to other firms with whom we have a working relationship. For example, order-flow providers, clearing firms and exchanges have used our trading expertise to educate their staff on the inner workings of proprietary trading.
