The Role:
The Trading Assistant (TA) role is an entry-level position within our Trading & Quant organization and gives you broad exposure to the whole business while preparing you for a specialized role as a Trader.
As a TA, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced traders on an open outcry trading floor as part of our S&P Market Making team. You will play a vital role in identifying trading opportunities and communicating with traders and risk managers throughout the trading day. The focus will be on opportunities to build trading intuition via real time interactions with the market.

- You have a strong quantitative and analytical skill set
- No prior knowledge or experience in finance is needed
Key requirements:
- You are a recent college graduate or expect to graduate with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree between December 2024-June 2025. All majors and concentrations welcome.
- You have a demonstrated record of success
- You are willing to relocate to Chicago, IL
- You are eligible to work in the United States with no restrictions and will not require Visa sponsorship now or in the future.
