Senior DevOps Engineer

Are you excited by the idea of using your DevOps skills to passionately build and maintain low latency trading systems? Would you like to help us optimize, standardize, and improve our DevOps tools and processes? CTC is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer for our DevOps team. As a member of this emerging team you will work closely with DevOps team to design an infrastructure leveraging our Platform and processes.
As a DevOps team member you will work with other specialists, traders, and quants to design, develop, deploy and operate our next generation DevOps Platform.
What You’ll Do
- Create, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines On Prem and Cloud Platforms
- Manage Kubernetes clusters and continuously improve deployment process of our applications
- Meet deadlines in support of a fast-moving release cycle
- Leverage new technologies and approaches with continuous improvement in mind
- Build monitoring systems and alerts for improved system insights and uptime/status evaluation
- Utilize modern orchestration tools (GitLab, Jfrog, Ansible Tower)
- Automate design patterns as infrastructure as code and implement and test the automation
- Coach, mentor, and provide feedback and guidance to other team members
What We’re Looking For
- Experience with Cloud resources including provisioning, monitoring and maintenance.
- Proven track record in creating, maintaining, enhancing application architecture
- Experience designing infrastructure footprint for applications
- Own delivery of long lasting solutions to team objectives based on new technologies, processes, or systems
- Excellent understanding IT infrastructure, Public cloud, DevOps and Enterprise architecture
- Excellent written, listening, and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of memory management challenges that exist in high throughput low latency trading
Applications (preferred)
- Familiar with high capacity/low latency infrastructure (Solace, multicast, Infiniband, Ethernet, SolarFlare) (preferred)
